Our Materials

Using ethically sourced materials and environmentally friendly practices, I am committed to quality design and craftsmanship from start to finish. The majority of my designs are made when you order them, which leads to less waste in our production process.  I proudly partner with small independent business for our production steps like gold plating and casting. These businesses are also committed to sustainable practices. We use recycled metals which are guaranteed free from toxic metals such as barium, cadmium and lead and conflict-free diamonds and precious gemstones.

14 Karat Solid Gold
We use sustainably recycled solid gold which is a precious metal that will not oxidize or discolor.  Solid gold will be your best friend for a lifetime and will not easily scratch or bend.

Care: Clean your solid gold with a soft toothbrush and water or use our mini polish cloth for light touch ups

 14 Karat Gold Plated Jewelry
We use an above industry standard 14 Karat Gold Plating on our jewelry. A thicker layer of 14 Karat gold over yellow brass gives the pieces their long lasting color.
Care: Gold plated jewelry doesn't like sweat or water. Before exercising or showering, remove your jewelry. Clean your piece by buffing gently with a soft dry cloth or your mini polishing cloth and store it in your pouch. ( only use polishing cloth occasionally, frequent use could remove microscopic layers of the gold)
14 Karat Gold Fill Jewelry
Gold filled is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant.

Care: Under normal wearing conditions, and with proper care, your gold filled jewelry can last several years.  Use your mini polishing cloth to gently clean.

We only use high quality diamonds that are ethically sourced from our suppliers who follow conflict free and socially responsible practices. Every diamond we use follows the Kimberley process.
Care: Diamonds are the hardest natural stone but can still suffer from chips & small fractures from sharp blows. Use warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush to clean then dry with a soft cloth. Use your mini polishing cloth when needed.
We use a variety of semi-precious gemstones to precious gemstones, each sought after for their rarity and beauty. Each are hand-cut and polished from our lapidary artist.  We love using inlaid techniques to cabochon shapes in our designs.

Care: Be gentle with your gemstones, some are softer than others and can scratch or break. Gemstones don't like chemicals or hot water. Use a soft toothbrush and warm soapy water to gently clean. Store in your jewelry pouch.
